Sequencer Parameters
Set the following parameters for a sequencer.
The available parameters vary depending on the Basic or Advance selection. The parameters in bold will display only when Advance is selected. However, depending on instrument's settings, some parameters may not be displayed.
AC Volt | Set the AC voltage of the step. Number in bracket represents the phase number. |
AC V Ramp | Enable or disable the AC voltage ramp. When enabled, AC voltage signal change linearly over the specified time instead as a step. |
DC Volt | Set the DC voltage of the step. Number in bracket represents the phase number. |
DC V Ramp | Enable or disable the DC voltage ramp. When enabled, DC voltage signal change linearly over the specified time instead as a step. |
Duration | Set the step execution time in seconds. This also controls the V Ramp and F Ramp time when those options are selected. |
Freq (Hz) | Set the step frequency in hertz. |
F Ramp | Enable or disable the frequency ramp. When enabled, frequency signal change linearly over the specified time instead as a step. |
Wave | Select the waveform bank number (ID) for the step. Number in bracket represents the phase number. To select previously-stored waveform bank, open the waveform bank setting file beforehand. See Open Waveform Bank Setting File. You can also customize and directly select the waveform bank. See Customize Waveform. |
Jump | Skip steps, enter the destination step number. |
Loop | Set the number of times to repeat the step continuously. |
Enable Start Phase Angle | Enable or disable the starting phase angle of the step. |
Start Phase Angle | Set the starting phase angle of the step. |
Start Phase Angle Ramp | Enable or disable the starting phase angle ramp of the step. |
Enable End Phase Angle | Enable or disable the ending phase angle of the step. |
End Phase Angle | Set the ending phase angle of the step. |
Output Imp | Enable or disable the output impedance of the step. |
Output Imp Resist | Set the resistive component of the output impedance of the step. Number in bracket represents the phase number. |
Output Imp React | Set the reactive component of the output impedance of the step. Number in bracket represents the phase number. |
Enable Offset Angle | Enable or disable the offset angle of the step. |
Offset Angle | Set the offset angle of the step. |
Enable 12 Phase Diff | For 3 phases output, enable or disable the phase 1 and phase 2 angle difference. |
12 Phase Diff | For 3 phases output, set the phase 1 and phase 2 angle difference. |
Enable 13 Phase Diff | For 3 phases output, enable or disable the phase 1 and phase 3 angle difference. |
13 Phase Diff | For 3 phases output, set the phase 1 and phase 3 angle difference. |
Phase Offset Ramp | Set the phase signal change characteristics of the
step. Number in bracket represents the phase number. Off - Turn the ramp off. Lead - Turn the ramp on with a leading phase angle. Lag - Turn the ramp on with a lagging phase angle. |
Output | Turn the output on or off. |
Status Out | Turn the status signal output on or off. When the status signal output is turned on, the signal is output only while the step’s waveform is being output. |
Trigger Out | Turn the trigger out signal on or off. When the trigger signal output is turned on, the signal is output for several tens of microseconds when a step is executed. |
Trigger In | Turn the trigger in signal on or off. When the trigger input is turned on, the sequencer is paused after the previous step is finished, and the instrument enters a trigger input wait state. If a trigger signal (pulse width of at least 10 μs) is received through the DIGITAL I/O terminal, the paused is released, and the step is executed. |
